First, this article would be a help to those who is just starting off their skin care routine, and wanting to try just one product. If you're overwhelmed with the huge range of korean skin care products, and confused where to start off. This is a starter product for you :)
This product comes in a huge tub full of product in a twist open container and have another plastic lid. It prevents the product to Oxidize. It's 92% Aloe Vera which is a natural moisturizer, 8% remaining consist of different ingredients, such as alcohol and others helps the product to last long .
Traditionally, raw Aloe Vera is used as a scrub in the scalp. It is widely known for its good properties for promoting hair growth. But with this product, they make Aloe Vera more innovative. Now, you can use Aloe Vera for almost all of your body part, not just to grow hair but also to Moisturize :D
The product is in Gel form, when you apply it the consistency is very watery. That is what I like about this product, because I seldom find moisturizing cream suites my facial skin type, Some creams are really moisturizing but somehow it feels oily.
Tropical chiqs would relate to me. If it's more humid in your country, you tend to sweat and oil a lot than usual.
If your in a 4 season country, you might experience this scenario only on Summer season.
This was the reason why I don't use creams in day time. Which I think was bad, because moisture is very essential throughout the day.
Fortunately, I found this product. This gel type moisturizer really suites my skin, I replaced my cream with this product. And I'm happy with the results so far. My skin drinks up the products so fast, because of it's watery consistency and doesn't feel oily afterwards.
It also has cooling sensation when you apply. Perfect for sunburns or after a long time under the sun. As the product label says "soothing gel".

Ways to used Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
♥ Facial Moisturizer
Day - before applying make-up, as a part of your skin care routine. I also tap some products on my lips (Yes, is it very mild and safe)
Night - apply on face after cleansing & removing make-up.
♥ Body Moisturizer/Lotion
- use as a substitute for your body lotion. If you have a heavy outdoor activities, this prevent sticky or oily feel when you sweat, that a usual body lotion gives you.
- for intensive body moisturization, Perfect for your weekly skin treatment or need Pick-Me-Up. Apply on body and layer your lotion after the product already absorb by your skin. I usually do this on night time, before going to bed. Specially, on my dry spots such as elbows, knees, heels & Y-zone.
♥Soothing Gel
- apply on sunburn as a cooling gel, or after a long time under the sun to restore moisture. (As I'd mention above)
♥ Eye patch
-perfect if you have eyebags, helps to reduce puffiness. Take a cotton pad, soak one side with the product, make a pair and place on closed eyes. My trick was put the product on the fridge for some time before placing on cotton pads. This provides a more cooling sensation and helps eyebags to depuff even more.
♥Sleeping Pack
- before going to sleep, soak your face with the product. Apply thicker than your usual usage and bring to sleep. Gives you more supple skin when you woke up the next morning. Do this on your dry skin days. This serves as treatment overnight.
♥Hair moisturizer
- apply on DRY hair. (do not apply on wet hair, it will be sticky) Perfect for split &a dry ends. Helps to reduce dryness.
OVERALL, it is a good moisturizer, specially for people from a more humid place. Multi purpose/all-in-one product. Suitable for any skin type. I highly recommend this for you to try :) But of course, cream type moisturizer provides more intense moisture. It is still much preferred for those from a winter weather country. It just a matter of choosing what type of moisturizer suits you skin.
But then again, for me "SKIN CARE PRODUCTS IS A PERSONAL THING" :)
Now, I'm really digging Gel type moisturizer and BELIF TRUE CREAM AQUA BOMB is my next thing to try on :) currently waiting for the product to arrive, I ordered it somewhere on the net. Wanting to try this product so much, so that I can share it with you guys.
Pros;
1.) Multi purpose moisturizer.
2.) Product comes in a such great amount.
3.) Not expensive.
4.)It does what it claims to do.
5.) Smells only fresh.
Cons:
1.) Huge tub is somehow not hygenic, must been better if it comes in a tube.
